COVID-19 : "Should I get tested?"
Ranch View Family Medicine is offering PCR and antibody COVID testing on Thursdays for asymptomatic patients on a walk-in basis. Patients must not be having any upper respiratory/cold or flu like symptoms and must have been seen within 1 year to qualify for this walk-in testing.
Patients coming into the office for PCR (swab) COVID testing must enter through the acute care clinic even if they are not having any symptoms. Patients coming in for antibody testing may enter through the main entrance. Wait times for testing may vary depending on the day.
Hours for Thursday walk-in COVID testing are 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are worried about having symptoms associated with COVID-19, or exposure to COVID-19, we recommend that you self-quarantine inside your home for at least 2 weeks, or until your symptoms have completely resolved for at least 3 days.
You can schedule a Telehealth appointment with one of our providers for further guidance and treatment, but if you are having worrisome symptoms such as shortness of breath or uncontrolled fever, we recommend that you call Ranch View and make an appointment for an on-site evaluation.
